TxDOT wanted to consolidate the functionality of many of the legacy systems currently used by the agency and make a leap forward in productivity. The agency needed a system that would standardize TxDOT business processes, provide transparency in performance measurement, and serve as a one-stop shop for project information and tasks. In addition, the agency was underperforming in meeting their Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) goals for this project.

There were many mission critical roles that needed to be staffed in order to achieve a successful project outcome. The latest functionality of TxDOTCONNECT included in-system management of Feasibility Studies projects, new capabilities around workflow, reporting, and mapping, and support for bulk upload of key data in the Engineer’s Estimate into TxDOTCONNECT.
